Bargain hunters will be spending the morning of Oct. 3 in Sienna Plantation as the development hosts the Rediscover Treasures Garage Sale.
The semi-annual sale will open at 7 a.m. in the parking lot of Club Sienna, 9600 Scanlan Trace. Nearly 100 families are expected to participate in the event, which closes at 10 a.m. Clothing, toys, books, tools, furniture, household items and more will be offered.
“This is one-stop shopping for garage sale fans who won’t have to worry about wandering the streets on a Saturday morning looking for finds,” said Cyndi Hernandez, community relations manager of the Sienna Plantation Associations. “The spring and fall sales are also convenient for our residents, especially our newer ones who may be looking to unload unpacked boxes. You never know what you might find at one of our Rediscover Treasures sales.”
The event is organized by the associations, which operate on-site in the Fort Bend development. Staff members plan a bevy of community events, such as seasonal festivals, concerts, food truck rallies and outings.
Seventeen of the area’s leading builders offer homes priced from the $280,000s to more than $1 million in Sienna Plantation, located in Missouri City near the Fort Bend Parkway.
