Sienna Ranks Among Nation’s Top

Twenty-seven years strong, Sienna remains one of the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities.

The largest community in Fort Bend County, Sienna ranks No. 26 on a recently released mid-year report by RCLCO Real Estate Consulting. The report is based on January-June home sales; Sienna builders sold 310 homes during the first half of the year.

Sienna’s lavish mix of water parks, fitness centers, sports courts, parks and playgrounds, lakes and other amenities have long been a draw for home buyers, and that list has grown this year. Among the new amenities are two along Sawmill Lake — the Sawmill Event Pavilion and Sawmill Beach Club.

The Sawmill Event Pavilion has indoor and outdoor space for everything from family reunions to wedding showers. A kitchen with a 10-foot island adds to the venue’s functionality. The party can spill outside to a lakeside boardwalk that extends to an outdoor patio with seating adjacent to a new food truck parking area. Festoon lights allow the patio to be used day and night.

The nearby Sawmill Beach Club offers a broad sandy area, shaded patios, a cabana, chaise lounges and sand volleyball court with a shaded viewing area.

Adding to Sienna’s engaging lifestyle is an event team that maintains a calendar packed with resident events for all ages.

Onsite schools are another draw, and young Sienna residents can advance from preschool through high school without leaving the community. In addition to preschools, Fort Bend ISD has opened eight schools in Sienna, and the district’s newest high school is located at the community’s entrance along Highway 521. Divine Savior Academy is also located in Sienna, serving kindergarten through 12^th grades.

Many teachers at the onsite schools are also Sienna residents, as are employees of the medical offices, stores, restaurants and other businesses also located in the community.

At the center of Sienna’s live-work-play appeal are the 15 builders that offer homes in the community. These builders have more than 250 floor plans, making it easy to find that perfect home, whether you’re a first-time buyer or purchasing your second or third home. In fact, many new-home buyers are already Sienna residents who can move up or down in a home without leaving the community.
