Eight Years and Counting

Sienna is on a roll. For the eighth year in a row, we have been ranked among the nation’s 50 top-selling master-planned communities by John Burns Research & Consulting and RCLCO Real Estate Consulting.

This is the 14^th time we’ve made the lists, but it’s always an honor to see our name. With 574 homes sold in our community last year, we took the No. 20 spot on the John Burns report and No. 23 on RCLCO. That puts us in the top 25 out of the top 50 in the nation.

What draws people to our beautiful community? We could talk about our diverse home choices, extensive amenities and our lifestyle (and we will), but the main reason more than 40,000 people make their home with us is the strong bonds our residents build with one another. You can’t put a price on that.

Our builders have been busy dreaming up new floor plans and home designs geared toward meeting the ever-changing needs of modern families. In fact, we released more than 500 homesites to builders in 2024, including to Chesmar Homes for their Courtyard Collection, innovative, urban-styled, single-family homes that are configured around a shared courtyard driveway.

In addition to new homesites, we added new amenities in 2024, including Sawmill Beach Club. An expansion of Sawmill Lakes’ many amenities, the club features shaded patios, a cabana, a pavilion, numerous chaise lounge chairs and a volleyball court. It’s located near another new amenity, the Sawmill Event Pavilion. This 3,841-square-foot covered pavilion offers a ballroom that opens to patios overlooking Sawmill Lake, a smaller meeting room, wall-mounted large screen televisions and a kitchen with a 10-foot island.

What’s on tap for the new year? The expansion of Divine Savior Academy and Houston’s First Baptist Church will provide more opportunities for residents. There will also be new businesses opening their doors, more events dreamed up by our lifestyle team and more amenities.
